There are still 4 matches which lead to the 16 second leg (Chelsea-Bayern München, Napoli-Barcelona, Real Madrid-Manchester City, Lyon-Juventus) that will still fight for that spot in the Quarte-Finals and join the already qualified: Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, Leipzig and PSG.
When and Where the Draw?
The draws are scheduled to take place on Friday 10 July at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland (from noon). The draw will be live streamed on UEFA’s official website,
The procedure of the Draw
At this stage of the competition there are no seedings or country protection and eventual restrictions will be announced before the day of the draw. The draw is made to determine the ‘home’ side in the Final for administrative reasons.
Since the pandemic crisis, this has been discussed for a while and have been decided that this season’s quarter-finals, semi-finals and Final will be played as a straight knock-out tournament in Lisbon (Portugal) in August.
All ties will be single-leg fixtures. The games will be split between Benfica’s Estádio do Sport Lisboa and Sporting CP’s Estádio José Alvalade.
Final will be hosted at Benfica’s Estadio da Luz
