Nigeria Women’s National team, the Super Falcons suffered a 2-1 loss to Squad One U-20 men’s side, at the FIFA Goal Project pitch of Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Wednesday as they continued their buildup for Côte d’Ivoire clashes in the 2020 Olympics qualifiers next month.

Tessy Biahwo scored the team’s only goal in the second half of the buildup encounter.

The Super Falcons’ interim Coach Christopher Danjuma recently named Azeezat Oshoala as the Captain of the side after the exit of Swedish Coach Thomas Dennerby from the team over rows with the Nigeria Football Federation.

They defeated their Algerian counterparts 1-0 to advance 3-0 on aggregate in their previous Olympic Qualifiers at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
